Original painting featured in the Ness of Brodgar 'Over The Edge' exhibition. 

About the Painting 

I know this square hearth looks askew, but no matter how I looked at it from the north edge of the trench, it looks like a triangle inside. The triangles told the story from the shaped stones at the bottom edge. Look carefully and you will see marks I have made into the paint using stones discarded by the diggers.
